As a mom, we all know how important baby wipes are – they are pretty much the glue to surviving parenthood. Figuring out which brand will work best for your child is one of the hardest choices a parent can make. After almost 2 years of being a mama, I’ve realized that these wipes are not just for wiping cute little tushes. In my house they are constantly used to wipe down the wild toddler after a messy meal, they also remove food off mine and my littles clothes, and they are there for you for all those spills you and your little will endure.
Now I am a cloth diapering mom, which means I do use cloth wipes. Even with the cloth diapers, I am a mom who likes to keep things simple. I have always brought wipes pre-wet to take on the go with me instead of trying to remember to pack cloth wipes. I have also been known to be too lazy to make wipes at home and to just use the pre-wet wipes I brought. (we can’t all be super moms all the time right?)
When figuring out which wipes would be best for you I have learned to have a check list:
I recently had the opportunity to try Happy Little Camper baby wipes. They are 100% natural cotton, hypoallergenic, and biodegradable.
The first thing I noticed when I tried these wipes, was just the fabric! They are super strong and thick compared to most disposable wipes. I was very impressed, most wipes seem to be very frail and thin, and can easily fall apart.
The second part I noticed, was the size. These are long & wide so I can use one section and fold and wipe again a few times. I have tried some brands and it was one wipe and you're done. These are probably the biggest pre-wet wipes I’ve used. It’s nice not having to repeatedly pull wipes out of the container for one cleanup.
